February 9, 2018
CEPRES was today honored with the prestigious industry award for ‘Best Portfolio Management Software Provider’ by Private Equity Wire. This is a significant accolade as Private Equity Wire Global Awards are based purely on reader voting and this year encompassed 1,230 votes to identify award winners. Dr. Daniel Schmidt, CEO and Founder of CEPRES was in London to personally receive the award on behalf of CEPRES.
Started as the Center of Private Equity Research
CEPRES started as the Center of Private Equity Research following the dot-com crash and grew under the umbrella of Deutsche Bank where Daniel was a Managing Director of Investments and Head of New and Innovative Product Structuring.
Daniel took CEPRES private in December 2010 and since 2011 has grown the company to be the largest counterparty network for sharing investment data on private market portfolios. Today over 1,850 LPs and GPs exchange data on $16 trillion of private equity, private debt, real estate and infrastructure via the CEPRES platform.
Commentary:
"I couldn’t be more proud on behalf of the CEPRES team to receive this award. We have been
fortunate to attract many of the world’s most sophisticated institutional investors and private markets
fund managers. These have helped drive our success by giving us the opportunity to learn and adapt to
their demands for a better online digital investment network. Our team has been a key driver for our
growth and we work hard to provide a compelling platform that will attract, motivate and retain
people."
