But no one is popping corks just yet, as key indicators such as deal volume, exits and even fundraising point to a market under strain.
New forecasting from CEPRES based on recent economic shocks predicts venture distributions to slow by 2024, deferring into later years, with the peak drop of 79% coming next year. It also expects lower lifetime performance for some venture fund vintage years stemming from current conditions.
